Overknee-Liebe

———————————————————————————————————-

Hey guys,

I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day Weekend. My mind is acutally already set on spring, the weather however (snow and one degree outside) is not on my side. Which makes my latest sale find even better: leatherfree overknee boots by H&M for only 20 Euros. Comfy, warm and super chic – I love them already!

You probably noticed that I am not blogging as much as I want. The reason for that is simple: there is too much going on. I am still working fulltime for my internship, I also started to work on my master thesis and we are probably moving into another city as well. As soon as everything slows down a notch, I will be more active on the blog again (and spring outfits are way cuter than winter ones anyways ;))

Have a nice week everyone, kisses :-*

The wishlist

————————–

Hi you guys!

Sorry for not posting as much as usual these days!  I started a new internship and cannot find the time for new photos or posts as much as I want to! But to keep you posted about my whereabouts, I want to show you my christmas wish list today. I know, it’s totally materialistic and childish – but anyhow, I love making lists and it makes the people who want to buy me presents happy 😉

Here it is (and it somehow ended up to be totally matchy matchy and within the new Pantone 2016 colorframe):

Beautiful Matt&Nat Libre bag, vegan leather in „macaroon“

Since my other wallet is totally broken: Matt&Nat Motiv wallet in „gravel“ I discovered Bloomingville yesterday and totally love their interior accessoires, like those cups… …. and these jars!!!

Rose quartz became the color of the year 2016 and I simply love this Reason beanie in this color! Available via Asos

Last but not least: it’s not very easy to find good vegan make ups tbh… But I love Urban Decay products and can’t wait to try this foundation…

I hope you like my wishlist and wish you a wonderful christmas time!!! ????

————————

Diesmal: Baobab Pulver. Bao-was?

Hi guys! It’s been time for another superfood post on my blog. This time I tried the Baobab powder by Terra Elements

The fruit of the African Baobab tree nourishes your body with vitamin c, fiber, magnesium and potassium and prevents diseases like osteoathritis. It tastes sweet, sour and fruity and is therefore perfect for breakfast bowls and smoothies.

Today I mixed my coconut soyghurt with one tblsp of the powder and covered it with some fruit, coconut chips and chia seed. The perfect start in your day with the awesome feeling of having done something good to your body! Try it and enjoy!!!!

Market in the fall/ Markttag

Hi guys!

I finally found time to update my blog with pictures I made last weekend! It was a wonderful sunny and warm weekend and we went to Munich’s famous Viktualienmarkt to buy some fresh produce. I love it there – the colors are amazing, flowers, fruits and veggies everywhere ?

I have another big announcement today: I will start to write this blog bi-lingual! To all my English-speaking followers: you won’t miss out! I will write my main article in German since the chances of expanding my blog are much higher in German but I will post an English translation of it underneath my article so you won’t miss a thing!!!

I hope you enjoy my pictures of last weekend!

Moringa – superfood & new recipe!!!

Hi guys!

I’ve got a very special blogpost for you today and am happy to announce my first collaboration with Terra Elements.

Terra Elements is a superfood shop located in Munich and they offer a huge variety of superfoods which naturally nourish our bodies with all necessary vitamins  and micronutrients.

The first product I want to introduce is powder made out of Moringa leaves.

The leaves come from the Moringa tree, which is also called the tree of life. It’s vegan, gluten-free and gives your body a huge variety of vitamins, protein, all 8 amino acids and minerals.

And I love love love the color of it!!!!

But what to do with it? It is mostly used for green smoothies but since I (unfortunately!!!) don’t own a blender (yet!!!), a smoothie was not an option.

Since Moringa is connected to spinach I decided to offer you a recipe for a creamy, tasty spinach dish. This is my first Moringa recipe but stay tuned, there are many more to come.

RECIPE for CREAMY SPINACH with MORINGA

1. Dice an onion and garlic

2. Chop up some fresh, well-washed spinach

3. Fry onions in a pan with olive oil

4. Add garlic, spinach and let it cook a little and add a teaspoon of paprica powder

5. To spice things up add some ginger powder

6. Add vegan cream such as soy cream by Alpro and cook everything for about 5 minutes

7. Moringa powder should not get cooked since it looses all its nutrients then. Take one teaspoon of the powder and stir it into the dish, either in the pan or when it is already on the plate.

8. Add some sprouts or other toppings you like and enjoy ?

I liked my first experience with the Moringa powder. It smells a little bit like green tea and gives the dish a fresh, light taste. Stay tuned for some other Moringa recipes and other superfoods like Baobab by Terra Elements.

Layers

I’m feeling a lot better today and so hubby and I decided to take a little walk through the English garden. It’s the first of november and autumn is showing its best side: sunshine and so many beautiful colors in the huge park area.

To stay warm I chose a layering look. Since I didn’t find a vegan winter coat yet, I’m wearing a basic shirt, a warm h&m cardigan and my faux-leather jacket on top. Very warm and comfy!!! 🙂

Now we are home and ordered some asian food, can’t wait for the delivery guy to be here soon 🙂 tofu and a delicious sauce are waiting for me ?

I hope you all had a nice sunday! ???

Happy Halloween ?

It finally has come: the night of spookiness, horror aaaand lots of candy!!!

Unfortunately I cannot join my friends for a halloween party since i’m still sick in bed with a cold.

Luckily, halloween nights also offer a great variety of horror movies on tv and I bought a lot of vegan candy, which will not make me get healthy again, but happy at least 😉

Here’s what I picked:

White vanilla chocolate from ichoc

Sweet popcorn

Double stuffed Oreo cookies

Vegan Haribo: Pasta Frutta

I think I’m gonna watch Paranormal Activity, The Ring and Mean Girls (Lindsay Lohan as an ex-wife, a classic) ????

What is your favorite horror movie?

Kisses ?

Peanut butter brownies ?

Hi guys!

Today has been a pretty girly/housewifey day for me: I went to a new hairdresser who colors hair with crueltyfree Aveda-products and after I left superblonde, I decided that today would be a great day for baking.

Here’s a pic of my new hair:

I’m usually not a big baking fan, but I found a recipe which is quick and supereasy to make:

Vegan Peanut Butter Brownies

So you start by heating up the oven to 200 degrees (celsius) and covering a baking sheet with baking paper.

After that add 150gr flour, 150gr cocoa powder and 150gr sugar in a bowl. You can use less sugar if you like it less sweet.

Add one cup of espresso (liquid, not powder), 150ml soymilk and about 50ml sunflower oil.

Before you stir everything, you add 1/4 tbls of baking soda and 1tblsp of vanilla flavor. Stir everything up. If it is too liquid still, use some powder sugar to give it a doughier texture!

After it became a nice dough add some dark chocolate chips and stir again.

Spread everything on the baking sheet and bake it for about 10-15 minutes.

Meanwhile add 30gr of soft vegan butter with 150gr peanutbutter and stir it. Sieve 150gr of sugar powder into the mixture. Add 1tblsp of vanilla flavor and about 4 tblsps of soymilk and stir it. It should have a creamy, easy-tospread texture.

After you took the brownies out of the oven let the cool down for a bit and then spread the peanutbutter cream!

Enjoy!!!!

Recipe #1 Easy dinner!

Hi guys!

As promised: my first recipe on the blog 🙂

I’m cooking almost every night, but sometimes it has to go fast and easy! Like today! 😉

I chose one of my favorite standart meals: Pasta with a creamy tomato sauce and meat(less)balls 🙂 it’s satisfying, yummie and almost everyone likes to eat it!

Here’s the recipe:

Step 1:

Fry one diced onion in olive oil. I like to add some rosemary, because it gives it a mediterranean touch

Step 2:

As soon as the onions are glazed over, I added chunky chopped garlic which I took out of the pan again after I fried it in the pan for about 5 minutes.

Step 3:

Add some herbs (like the bruschetta herbal mix) and some tomato paste and fry it as well. (I love the smell of this)!

Step 4:

Add a can of (organic) chopped tomatoes and let it cook for about 10 minutes. (Time to cook the pasta in the meantime).

Step 5:

Add some soy cream to give the sauce a creamy texture.

Season to taste the sauce with salt, pepper and some paprika.

Step 6:

Fry the vegan meatballs (based on wheat protein) in a separate pan.

Serve the pasta, sauce and meatballs and enjoy ???

I’m back ?

Hi guys!!!

First of all: s.o.r.r.y!!! Sorry for not posting this long! It’s been some crazy few weeks which all started with me getting sick! But now I’m back and I am even bringing back some new changes!

I realized that blogging about fashion is too expensive for a poor student like me, I decided I will (besides fashion posts which will still be on this blog) also post other vegan-related topics, such as food (duh! ;)) and beauty tipps! Since I am cooking almost every night, I will share my favorite recipes with you 🙂

But to start things off: here’s a new outfit post for you: beanie time again! The weather has gone from late summer to early winter in only a few days so it’s important to keep ourselves warm and cozy!

I hope you enjoy you autumn and stay warm and healthy too!

Kisses and stay tuned ???
