Happy holidays

I just wanted to wish you all some happy holidays – I will use those days for lots of new outfit shoots! I’m so looking forward to show them to you!

Today I’m wearing a very easy outfit – blue jeans, tshirt and sneakers… I had a not-so-good night and am not feeling very well but I decided to still go outside for a bit and enjoy the sun! I had a soy latte at Barer 61 (café in Munich) with the bf and spotted the first daisies of the year ??? What did you guys do today?

When in Paris…

My love and I went to Paris last september and I’m still dreaming about it… This city has swept me off my feet! My biggest dream is to live there one day – I start to refresh my french next week and hopefully I will be able to do an internship there next year… I want to share some of the pics I made there with some outfits I wore – and bien sûr I’ll start with the day when we met two legends within 30 minutes 😉 have fun et à bientôt, bisous :-*

Here’s a not so fashionable post: a day at the petting zoo. I definitely am against animals in the zoo, especially wild animals like tigers or elephants. Petting zoos however, with „regional“ farm animals, are a great opportunity for people to get in touch with them. They may even help people to realize what exactly they are eating everyday – for example when they see cute little piggies sniffing around mud. My little godchild Matteo loves the petting zoo, and so we decided to go there last week.

We experienced loads of funny things – especially when a little baby goat decided to get addicted to my shoe laces… 😀 enjoy those pics and please don’t pay special attention on my ootd – we went to the zoo to get dirty, not to show the latest trends 😉

Fight the grey

You wake up from a long party night with a slight hangover and…

…it’s grey and rainy?!

Here’s what you should do:

Put your leopard rain boots on

And have a sunday funday anyway 😉

Have a nice sunday everyone 🙂 :-*

Friday smoothie time

I’m in love with green smoothies – either bought or selfmade. They give our skin a healthy glow and nourish your body with lots of vitamins and other important nutrients.

This one is full of cale, mint, carrot, pear, arugula, mango and apple – soooo good!!!

Munich inside: LOST WEEKEND – vegan café

To all Munich visitors or residents: I also want to share my favorite vegan places with you. The first one I want to introduce is a café and book store called Lost Weekend, located in Munich’s „Schellingstraße“ right at the subway station „Universität„. All beverages and snacks served are vegan! My heart flipped when I heard about this, since the café is located right next to my university building – I can have a quick snack there or take the yummie sandwiches and good coffee with me in class.

The best breakfast in town: soylatte, granola with soyghurt, naturally sweetened and covered with yummie jam, fruit and almonds.

Great vegan croissants (they also have ones filled with chocolate)

Today’s breakfast: a huge soy cappuccino

And last but not least: super yummie soy „meat“ covered with the best BBQ sauce ever in a crunchie ciabatta. Sooooo good!!!

Watch it

My boyfriend gave me this beautiful Daniel Wellington watch for christmas. And since then, I’m in love with it ? DW watches are great since their textile bands come in all colors! Only black and brown come as leather bands – I would love a black textile band tho because it would be easier to combine. Nevertheless – the blue, white, red combination is perfect for France fans like me 😉

I will also post some yummie vegan good pics, since I loooove eating 😉

Last week was supersunny  and so I decided to have lunch outside.

I made myself a smoothie of banana, pineapple, spinach, raspberries and soy milk and had some chia seed bread topped with avocado and salt and pepper! Super easy, super yummie, super crueltyfree 🙂

PS: The lovely sunnies are from &other stories 🙂

Stripes and fake leather l.o.v.e

Spring has arrived – finally! The world starts to freshen up and we get rid of tons of layered clothes, scarves and mittens.

I’m in love with Scandinavian looks and I decided to combine a simple navy white striped shirt with some fake leather leggings. On my feet you can find my alltime favorite (and super dirty) white Superga sneakers!

Basic canvas shoes which come in all colors and patterns! You’ll love them! Underneath the shirt I combined a basic white Zara blouse since it’s still fresh outside…

Easy hair in a bun and my favorite jewellry – voila – my first blog outfit 🙂

Starting up

Hi guys!

First of all thank you so much for visiting my blog 🙂 YAY 🙂 You might think „uhm yeah well does the world really need another fashion blog?!“ – I’m telling you YES IT DOES. This is not a common fashion blog where stylish clothes are all that matter: this is a blog about cruelty free fashion. Cruelty free fashion? What’s that? I am going to show you, how stylish outfits can be without leather, fur, wool or silk. Vegan fashion for which no animal on earth had to suffer or even die. Additionally I will post my favorite vegan recipes or places in this world, which are especially vegan-friendly. But fashion will be the main part on this blog since I loooooveeee fashion but since I became vegan, I often had trouble finding stylish clothes! You’ve got the same problem? Let me show you how it works 🙂 I HOPE YOU LOVE IT <3

About myself:

My name is Elena (called Leni) – I am a 26 year old graduate student (M.A. History) in Munich, Germany. I work part-time as a model and as a freelancer for a marketing agency. I will be done studying next year and want to become a journalist. I turned vegan about a year ago, but stopped eating meat or fish when I was 12 years old. The freedom and well-being of animals is one of my main life goals. I want to show the world, that no animal should suffer just to fill our stomach or wardrobe. I also love food, nature, big cities, ballet, travel and I am an all time optimist and happy person. I have a wonderful boyfriend and enjoy my student life as much as I can. Plus, as you probably will notice very soon, I am in love with Paris and french style. I am also studying french at the moment – bon, c’est tout 🙂
