Baobab ?

Hallo ihr Lieben!

Heute geht es wieder um eines der tollen Produkte von Terra Elements. Diesmal: Baobab Pulver. Bao-was?

Hi guys! It’s been time for another superfood post on my blog. This time I tried the Baobab powder by Terra Elements

The fruit of the African Baobab tree nourishes your body with vitamin c, fiber, magnesium and potassium and prevents diseases like osteoathritis. It tastes sweet, sour and fruity and is therefore perfect for breakfast bowls and smoothies.

Today I mixed my coconut soyghurt with one tblsp of the powder and covered it with some fruit, coconut chips and chia seed. The perfect start in your day with the awesome feeling of having done something good to your body! Try it and enjoy!!!!

Moringa – superfood & new recipe!!!

Hi guys!

I’ve got a very special blogpost for you today and am happy to announce my first collaboration with Terra Elements.

Terra Elements is a superfood shop located in Munich and they offer a huge variety of superfoods which naturally nourish our bodies with all necessary vitamins  and micronutrients.

The first product I want to introduce is powder made out of Moringa leaves.

The leaves come from the Moringa tree, which is also called the tree of life. It’s vegan, gluten-free and gives your body a huge variety of vitamins, protein, all 8 amino acids and minerals.

And I love love love the color of it!!!!

But what to do with it? It is mostly used for green smoothies but since I (unfortunately!!!) don’t own a blender (yet!!!), a smoothie was not an option.

Since Moringa is connected to spinach I decided to offer you a recipe for a creamy, tasty spinach dish. This is my first Moringa recipe but stay tuned, there are many more to come.

1. Dice an onion and garlic

2. Chop up some fresh, well-washed spinach

3. Fry onions in a pan with olive oil

4. Add garlic, spinach and let it cook a little and add a teaspoon of paprica powder

5. To spice things up add some ginger powder

6. Add vegan cream such as soy cream by Alpro and cook everything for about 5 minutes

7. Moringa powder should not get cooked since it looses all its nutrients then. Take one teaspoon of the powder and stir it into the dish, either in the pan or when it is already on the plate.

8. Add some sprouts or other toppings you like and enjoy ?

I liked my first experience with the Moringa powder. It smells a little bit like green tea and gives the dish a fresh, light taste. Stay tuned for some other Moringa recipes and other superfoods like Baobab by Terra Elements.

Kisses ?

Recipe #1 Easy dinner!

Hi guys!

As promised: my first recipe on the blog 🙂

I’m cooking almost every night, but sometimes it has to go fast and easy! Like today! 😉

I chose one of my favorite standart meals: Pasta with a creamy tomato sauce and meat(less)balls 🙂 it’s satisfying, yummie and almost everyone likes to eat it!

Here’s the recipe:

Step 1:

Fry one diced onion in olive oil. I like to add some rosemary, because it gives it a mediterranean touch

Step 2:

As soon as the onions are glazed over, I added chunky chopped garlic which I took out of the pan again after I fried it in the pan for about 5 minutes.

Step 3:

Add some herbs (like the bruschetta herbal mix) and some tomato paste and fry it as well. (I love the smell of this)!

Step 4:

Add a can of (organic) chopped tomatoes and let it cook for about 10 minutes. (Time to cook the pasta in the meantime).

Step 5:

Add some soy cream to give the sauce a creamy texture.

Season to taste the sauce with salt, pepper and some paprika.

Step 6:

Fry the vegan meatballs (based on wheat protein) in a separate pan.

Serve the pasta, sauce and meatballs and enjoy ???

Grönsakbullar and flowers

Hi guys!

As you probably now, thanks to Peta, Ikea finally has a vegan version of the swedish kötbullar. They are called grönsakbullar and are only made of veggies. So, as you can guess – I simply HAD to try them ?

I went to IKEA today and had a serving of grönsakbullar with fried potatoes and tomato sauce – it was quite tasty however the balls and potatoes weren’t really fresh and starting to get a bit dry already. Nevertheless they were a great alternative to all the other food offers! I also went to IKEA because I decided to make our terrace ready for summer! And I did: look at all the beautiful flowers I bought ?

Have a nice sunny day :-*
